Buying a Clover Park greyhound

We conduct three different types of Sales of our Greyhounds at Clover Park Racing Group which include; 1. Private Syndicate Greyhounds that we Train We have raced a number of Greyhounds with our clients over the years in Private Syndicates that we manage completely. These are often our top-echelon of Greyhounds and we offer Shares to our clients, acquaintances and friends, enabling them to share in the enjoyment in racing City and Group class chasers. These Private Syndicate greyhounds are offered on a 'racing career only' basis, with all breeding rights being retained by Clover Park Racing Group Pty. Ltd. 2. Greyhounds For Sale that we will continue to Train These are greyhounds that we occasionally offer to market for purchase by Individuals and/or other Private Syndicates and which we have identified as meeting our criteria to be competitive at Metropolitan or Group racing level 3. Reduction Sale of Performed or Ready-to-Race Greyhounds These are greyhounds that have been through our system but which we think would benefit from a change of kennel or racing in a different region. In these instances, one of the most common questions often asked is..."why would Andy Lord be selling it if it was any good?". Well, there are a number of answers to that question, but generally, it's because we think that Greyhound would benefit by being moved to another kennel or more specifically, to a different geographic region to continue its career. That certainly doesn't mean the greyhound is still not competitive, but with a constant stream of quality greyhounds coming through Clover Park, kennel space is paramount. Our main Racing kennel block houses 25 greyhounds, and with more than 90% of our Racing conducted at Wentworth Park, we have strict ability-level parameters in place which Greyhounds need to meet to be competitive at Metropolitan racing level. Every dog that Clover Park Racing Group sells comes with an honest appraisal from Andy Lord as to its ability and capabilities, while all purchasers also receive a current Veterinary Certificate attaining to the health and fitness of the Greyhound. Black Dog - Bernardo x Bandit Jane - Whelped December 2023
With four of our clients, we have recently formed the Chasers Club No.2 Syndicate for 'Rocky' who is out of the December 2023 litter by Bernardo out of our Track Record holder, Bandit Jane. Now 14 months of age, the Chasers Club No.2 Syndicate has purchased 'Rocky' for $50,000 and Andy Lord is very confident he has the ability to be a quality, City-Class chaser. "He has done everything right in his Breaking-In and Pre-Training regime and his times at the same age are very comparable to Bandit Ned, who was a multiple Group race winner for us, including the 2021 G1 Vic Peters Classic and G2 Nowra Puppy Classic. "As we do with all of our pups, we'll continue his education at Goulburn, then head to Wentworth Park and look towards a start to his race career in September or October, for which we will more than likely target the Million Dollar Chase Maiden," said Andy.
