Clover Park, situated at Gunning in Southern NSW, is undoubtedly one of the most pre-eminent Greyhound Training, Rearing and Breeding facilities, anywhere in the world, and is home to Clover Park Racing Group and Champion Trainers, Andy and Jodie Lord, as well as their daughter Hayley Gilbert, who is also fast making a name for herself as a Metropolitan winning Trainer.
Andy and Jodie have been perfecting their craft for more than 30 years and during that time, they have won numerous GRNSW and Wentworth Park, Trainer of the Year titles, whilst compiling a CV that now holds more than 60 Group race victories and in excess of 25 Track Record holders. Their first victory at Group 1 level came in the 2004 National Sprint Championship when In For Life was successful, and since then, they have prepared literally thousands of winners including the champion sprinter, She's A Pearl, winner of the Million Dollar Chase, the Group 1 Golden Easter Egg and more than $1.7m in prize-money.

SHE'S A PEARL DELIVERS THE PERFECT 10!

The undisputed 'Queen of Clover Park', She's A Pearl, has today delivered 10 pups in her latest litter to Explicit.
She’s A Pearl, the winner of the 2022 G1 Golden Easter Egg and Million Dollar Chase, as well as being crowned 2022 Australian Greyhound of the Year, produced 5 Black Dogs, 1 Brindle Dog and 4 Black bitches which Andy Lord has described as 'just perfect'.
"Like the champion she was on the track, Pearl handled it with ease...she started whelping at 9am this morning and had the last one at 5.30pm.
"We gave her a big feed after she finished and she devoured that pretty quickly and then went straight back to being a Mum again.
"Pearl's first litter to Fernando Bale are only weeks away from making their race track debuts and we're very excited to see what she produces,” said Andy Lord.

Pearl meets her Perfect Match

It is a decision Andy Lord says he should have wrestled with and had many a sleepless night over, but in the end he says it was quite simple...'just go to the best'.
And with that theory in mind, Lord has today announced that She’s A Pearl has been mated with Group 1 Melbourne Cup and Phoenix winner, Explicit, for what will be the third litter for his Golden Easter Egg and Million Dollar Chase champion.
“Realistically, there are no rules when it comes to breeding, some crosses work and some don’t, but what I was taught when I was growing up was ‘put the best to the best’ and that’s how we landed on Explicit,” said Andy Lord.
